Service to Community and
Service to People in Need
Both of these Service Committees are dedicated to responding with compassion and care to the evolving needs of our local community. These two committees share a common mission: to thoughtfully evaluate requests and recommend the allocation of budgeted funds to support individuals and agencies facing hardship.
Types of Support May Include:
-
Access to food, clothing, and shelter
-
Transportation assistance
-
Aid for individuals living with disabling physical or mental health conditions
Beyond Financial Support, committee members often go a step further by volunteering their time and offering personal donations to assist community organizations with sponsored activities. These hands-on efforts help extend the reach and impact of our service, offering dignity and hope to those in need.
While both committees operate under the same guiding principles and responsibilities, each serves distinct individuals or organizations. The specific agencies and projects addressed by each committee may vary from year to year, reflecting the dynamic nature of community needs.
This committee is ideal for members who value responsive service, thoughtful stewardship of resources, and direct engagement with the people and organizations we aim to uplift.
